Private events and parties are held at Barcode. Depending on the hour, the DJ will play a variety of music styles such as dance, dubstep, and Bulgarian pop/folk songs.
They have a very unique interior design with comfortable couches and armchairs, old paintings on the walls, antique lamps, and dim soft lighting. The bar is also fairly large, divided into several smaller sections. That, combined with the overall vibe, makes it super cozy and chill – a great place to sit and talk.
There’s one room with a table and all-around seating that’s more isolated from the rest of the bar, so if you’re looking for a more private setting, this is it.
The music varies, but from what I’ve heard, it’s mostly soft rock and pop.
What distinguishes them from other bars is that they hold a 50% off night every Thursday. They also host LGBT Halloween parties, Pride pre- and post-parties, and a variety of other themed events.
