El Cardenal on Palma Street is housed in a stunning French-style edifice with high ceilings and large “cantera” (quarried stone) columns, owing to architect José Helue Mina’s meticulous and competent work.

El Cardenal’s breakfasts resemble Mexican tables. Combine Doña Olivia chocolate, freshly made bread, and thick raw milk cream for a delightful treat.

El Cardenal aims to evoke the Mexican region. Its meals are replicas of classic stews from all across the nation, which are served at the table with distinction and worthy of recreating our favorite food.
