La Avispa (The Wasp) is one of San Jose’s largest and greatest homosexual clubs, located in the heart of the city’s gay district.
La Avispa boasts two dance floors with Latin and pop music, as well as large screens that show music videos to assist you dance the night away. Tuesday and Sunday are the busiest nights.
Sunday nights at La Avispa are when the magic happens, with chart and samba DJs spinning till 6 a.m. The club, on the other hand, is open all weekend.
This bar is a favorite of San José’s homosexual youth, so expect to see attractive males, outstanding drag queens, and amazing dancing on your night out.
