In a corner of Madrid’s historic district, which has maintained its noble reputation, in front of the majestic Royal Palace, there is a restaurant where I go to eat the best ham. It’s called “La Mi Venta,” and anybody who visits will quickly recognize its charm and the huge kindness the owner extends to all of his customers, which demonstrates the unique flavor of the hams hanging from the ceiling. I know what their next ambition will be: finding a chance to return.
