Gay-friendly establishment Owoo has drawn all the newcomers to this old-school neighborhood. While other older businesses are cramped in small spaces, Owoo has a good size, not to mention their Nordic interior styled in wood, which is a stark contrast to Jongro’s backdrop.
It’s popular among the area’s young residents, who prefer to avoid the party-heavy Itaewon district.
This place exudes a youthful vibe that only a crowd of people in their twenties can provide, and that money cannot buy. We had to wait a long time when we went to write this review, so other than getting there early, we’re afraid there will always be a line of people ahead of you.
