The original Dr. Rockit’s Legendary Blues Bar, which opened in 1989, was a landmark music establishment in the Coastal Bend. The partners of Brewster Street Icehouse and Concrete Street Amphitheater purchased Dr. Rockit’s lease in 2015. These partners took over the property and significantly improved its exterior appeal as well as its entertainment services.
Rockit’s Whiskey Bar & Saloon reopened in April 2015 with a broader range of events, entertainment opportunities, and a historic yet modern beverage menu. Our goal at Rockit’s Whiskey Bar & Saloon was to create a comfortable, enjoyable, and inviting informal but sophisticated setting. We believe we have succeeded! Come check it out for yourself.
