The oldest bar in Lansing, having obtained a liquor license following the repeal of Prohibition in 1933. The previous owner’s tradition of inviting everyone who are eager to welcome others is enthusiastically perpetuated.
The rear of the photos bar is one-of-a-kind, with a stained glass inlay of Merlin the Magician flanked by three giant hand-carved Haitian wood Griffins. Rudy Stober bought and reassembled it here years ago after it was originally in California.
Patrons are a diverse bunch of people looking for a good time and making new acquaintances. Our job is to give affordable costs, a welcoming environment, and to get out of the way. Live music on Tuesdays and Sundays, as well as the best-kept shuffleboard tables. We get a lot of compliments on our classic jukebox, which is free during the day.
We have just enough high definition big screens to avoid being a “sports bar,” but enough to keep you entertained during all of your major events.
A Stober’s family recipe pickled egg with a splash of spicy sauce rounds out the evening. “Like” us to stay up to date on our various promotions and events.
